Because this group is broad, judging a listing on freshness, turnover and how consistent recent reviews are tends to work better than judging by decor or price range alone. Most kitchens in McAllen will adjust a dish for common dietary needs like gluten-free or vegetarian if you ask when ordering. Hours vary widely: diners and fast-food chains often stay open late or around the clock, while bakeries and cafes tend to open early and close mid-afternoon. Catering and food delivery businesses in Texas usually require advance notice, from a day for a small order up to a week or more for a large event, so it is worth contacting them early.
Hours are published for 6 days a week. Typical hours are 11 amβ9 pm. It is closed on Monday. McAllen is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. Getting around McAllen is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Texas's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

This place is just amazing. Great flavor, great service and great quality. I miss this place, I recently moved out of Texas and every visit was a great experience. This restaurant is on my top 3 of Peruvian restaurants in the USA. Every single dish I had tasted like I was in Peru. Fresh ingredients, that chicha morada and ceviche were really good.

Good vibes, good food and good atmosphere. If you've been craving peruvian food or never had it before, this is the perfect place. Tasteful with adequate portions. See what you've been missing in your taste buds. Friendly and low stress people will answer all your questions about the dishes, if you so require. Try the Inca cola to compliment your delicious food. Live music from time to time. A must try in the valley.

One of my favorite restaurants of all time. I am a huge fan of their ceviche. It is hard to find real authentic meals like this now a days. You can clearly taste that their food is never frozen and extremely fresh. Highly recommend to anyone thatβs trying to find something new to eat.

If I could give 10 stars I would to this place. Hands-down, it is the best food in town. I tried this for the first time today during lunchtime and when I got home, I took my family for dinner. The food here is phenomenal! I totally recommend the Peruvian ceviche with the mahi-mahi and I recommend Lomo Saltado with filet mignon. The drink to Chicha Morada is very tasty. And we also tried the dessert with the fried bananas and the ice cream. I guarantee you will not be disappointed. 10 out of 10.

We went in when we noticed the Dominican flag from the window and once inside it immediately reminded us of back home (NY). I had such an amazing experience here! The food was absolutely delicious β the chicken was perfectly cooked and full of flavor, the rice and beans were incredibly tasty, and the green salad and tostones made the perfect sides. Everything tasted fresh and homemade. The owner, Efran, was wonderful and made us feel so welcome, and every employee we interacted with was incredibly sweet, attentive, and helpful especially Reyna. π₯° The atmosphere was warm, inviting, and just perfect for enjoying a great meal. Iβll definitely be coming back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for fantastic food and outstanding service! If youβre looking for something different with so much flavor this is definitely the spot! ππ½ππ½
